Custom Swimwear Manufacturing
Fabrion is a factory-direct custom swimwear manufacturer based in Thailand, producing made-to-order bikinis, one-piece swimsuits, rash guards, board shorts, swim trunks, and sublimated swimwear for brands, resorts, gyms, clubs, and startups that need consistent bulk production and repeat-order reliability.
Swimwear Manufacturing Overview
Swimwear manufacturing depends on correct fabric selection, elastic specification, seam construction, and print method. These factors affect fit, stretch recovery, comfort, chlorine resistance, UV resistance, and durability in production and real use.
Fabrion offers both OEM and ODM swimwear manufacturing. OEM is for clients who provide finished designs, tech packs, or reference samples. ODM is for brands that need design development before production. Both can include private labeling, woven labels, care labels, heat transfers, hang tags, and branded packaging.
Production is based on approved specifications, pre-production samples, and quality control before shipment. This supports both export clients and Thailand-based buyers sourcing locally.

Swimwear Manufacturing for Brands, Resorts, and Clubs
Fabrion manufactures swimwear for startups, established brands, resorts, and clubs that need reliable production for repeat orders and seasonal demand.
Production supports swimwear brands, surf brands, resorts, hotels, gyms, clubs, event organizers, and startups. Fabrion works with both export clients and Thailand-based buyers.
Thailand also creates direct demand from resorts, water sports operators, and clubs, making Fabrion a practical production partner for buyers sourcing from Thailand and across Southeast Asia.
Swimwear Fabrics and Material Selection
Swimwear fabric selection depends on product type, print method, stretch requirement, lining, and intended use. The main swimwear fabrics are nylon-spandex and polyester-spandex, each with different performance characteristics.
Nylon-spandex is commonly used for a softer hand feel and smooth finish. Polyester-spandex is commonly used for better chlorine resistance, color retention, and sublimation compatibility. Final fabric specifications should match the product type and performance requirement.
Fabric weight should be selected based on coverage, end use, and how the fabric performs when wet. Exact composition, stretch level, and GSM should be confirmed during product development for the specific product.

Production Standards and Quality Control
Swimwear production at Fabrion follows a defined workflow from initial brief to shipment. New styles go through pre-production sampling before production starts, because fit, elastic tension, seam recovery, and coverage when wet need to be checked on actual samples.
Quality control includes fabric inspection, in-line checks during assembly, and final inspection before packing. Swimwear checkpoints include seam strength, stretch recovery, elastic consistency, lining alignment, print consistency on sublimated styles, and label placement.
Fabrion follows Western-style project management, with clear communication and documented checkpoints throughout production. This also supports repeat orders, where sizing, fabric references, and construction details are retained for consistency.

Sublimation Printing in Swimwear Production
Sublimation printing is a core production process for polyester-based swimwear. The process bonds dye into the polyester fibers, creating a permanent print that does not crack or peel and resists fading from chlorine, saltwater, and UV exposure.
For brands, clubs, and organizations that need all-over graphics, team branding, or multi-color designs, polyester-spandex combined with sublimation is the standard production setup. The design is printed before cutting and sewing, allowing full-garment coverage.
Sublimation printing suits swimwear production that requires consistent color, clear branding, and repeatable print quality across orders. This matters when the same design must be reproduced accurately over time.

Garment Construction and Seam Standards
Swimwear requires construction that matches high-stretch fabrics and wet-use conditions. Flatlock stitching is widely used because it lies flat against the skin, feels smooth, helps prevent chafing, supports durability, and maintains stretch.
Lining is a functional part of swimwear construction. Standard lining in nylon-spandex tricot improves opacity, structure, and comfort. For chlorine-heavy use, polyester lining can be specified for better durability.
Elastic used in waistbands, leg openings, and straps must be suitable for swimwear use. Swim-grade elastic is used to maintain tension and shape retention through repeated water exposure.
Start Your Swimwear Manufacturing Inquiry
Swimwear manufacturing inquiries should begin with clear production requirements, including product type, estimated quantities, design references or tech packs, required fabric and print specifications, and delivery timeline. This helps confirm feasibility, align specifications, and prepare production planning correctly.
